IMOW  launches latest MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe exhibition gallery: Mama in Many Ways, which explores the evolving definition of “mom” and motherhood. Mama in Many Ways will be our featured Gallery through the end of July.

In this new topic gallery, we’re exploring the diverse ways women become and are considered “mothers.” The Mama in Many Ways gallery includes a photo documentary from a teen momin the slums of Kenya who follows other teen moms and documents their trials and triumphs;an essay by an adoptive mother in an open adoption called “What’s in a Name?”; a moving poem from Lenelle Moise about being a lesbian mom; and much more!
