Tomorrow kicks off Capucine Bourcart’s 39 Weeks of Pregnancy as an Art Basis, featured in our gallery during the month of October.

Museum of Motherhood

Monday: New mothers’ groups forming to meet every Monday morning at 11 a.m. at M.O.M., with a focus on groups that support mothers in need, women seeking support for self-identification and self-nurturing and looking for a supportive and compassionate gathering space. Tuesday: KidPower Playdate, every Tuesday at 10 a.m., featuring face painting, crafts, and snack. Best for children 2-6 years old. $20 weekly – drop off or relax in the wonderful Museum of Motherhood Space. Space is limited; RSVP by calling the museum or writing Lisa: lisacspc@verizon.net.

Wednesday: Prenatal and Mommy & Me yoga, 9 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Mother yourself! Support the mommyhood community by letting us support you. DROP IN for your first class for only $10.

Tony C is back at 12:30 for another mini-music concert! (Adults, $10)

At 4 p.m., join our Special Needs Playgroup! Children aged 3-5 and siblings welcome. The Sensory/Special Needs Playgroup offers an appropriate environment for children with all disabilities and abilities. Parents and caregivers can trade experiences with each other. Join us at M.O.M. on alternating Wednesdays at 4:30 for discussion groups and our new student-run Internet TV Websiodes. Topics will include, but are not limited to: Motherhood, feminism, gender studies, women’s studies, women in the media, book reviews, hot topics and trends, the multicultural family and global perspectives. Thursday: Moey’s Music Party music classes meet at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
$20 a class – best price of the semester! *plus $25 annual registration fee which includes free Happily Ever Moey! CD & DVD (To register, call 917-680-6739).

Our Meet the Expert series continues at noon, with Renee Sullivan, leader of the Babybites moms groups that meet at M.O.M. Renee Sullivan is a parent coach and fellow mom. Bring your new mom questions – from work / life balance, sleep schedules, developmental milestones, and juggling new motherhood. Just stop by! $15 suggested donation to M.O.M.

Friday: Join Sara Lise Raff, Arts Ed Consultant as part of our Meet the Expert series at 11 a.m. Sara was born and raised in NYC with vast exposure to the arts and culture New York has to offer. Serving as an advisor, mentor and guide, she utilizes her early education experience to navigate the NYC school system, and offer guidance in many areas. She also hosts and creates Mom Salons.

Sunday: Sundays are Family Day at M.O.M.! 11-5 p.m.
